Approximate 15 Minutes from Queen Beatrix International Airport to Oceania Resort Residences. Distance is 8.25 miles (13 km). As you exit the airport take a left at first traffic lights onto main road, called L.G. Smith Boulevard/sign marked A-1, that runs all along the coastline. Continue through the downtown area. After passing the roundabout circle on the Boulevard, turn left on the next traffic lights onto J.E. Irausquin Blvd. Follow J.E. Irausquin Blvd, Eagle Beach will be on your left. Oceania Resort Residences will be on the right side of the road, approximately two blocks after passing Costa Linda Hotel.
Our modern Queen Beatrix International Airport can accommodate commercial jet aircrafts as large as the Boeing 747. The island is served by a number of airlines, and connections can be made to any part of the world. For current schedules and reservations, see your travel agent. The departure tax for Aruba is US $36.75 to the USA (It is usually included in the purchased airline ticket). For all other destinations, the departure tax is US $33.50. Aruba is also served by seasonal charter flights from Cleveland, Newark, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Orlando, Atlanta, Charlotte, Louisville, Cincinnnati, Nashville and Stewart Newburgh. Year round charters from Boston, Chicago, Detroit, and Hartford. In Canada, charter service is available through Skyservice. If in Aruba on transit for less than 24 hours, these charges are waived for passengers transferring to non-US bound flights. ADA Queen Beatrix International Airport meets all standards set forth by the ADA (American Disabilities Act) this includes bathrooms, hold rooms, check-in areas, etc. There is a fully equipped medical facility with highly trained professionals. Arrangements can be made with facility for special needs upon arrival and/or departure, as well as emergency treatment while at the airport. Local busses every 15 min just infront of Oceania Resort Residences, taxis Getting around by bus is one of the easiest ways to get where you want on Aruba. Especially the supermarkets and all beaches are easy to reach by bus, and you will not have to walk miles from the bus stop once you're there. For going to a restaurant or sight seeing we still recommend either to rent a car or take a taxi. Fare: US$ 1.15 one way, US$ 2 return All Buses to Malmok or Arashi stop in front of all Hotels starting with Bushiri Beach Resort. Visible on the Bus is a sign denoting the Hotel area, Hotel or town where the bus will stop. The bus does not stop at either Divi Divi, Casa del Mar, Aruba Beach Club, Manchebo, Bucuti or Costa Linda - the closest stop is the one near the Hospital. Visible on the Bus is a sign denoting either Hotel area, Hotels or Palm Beach.
